A group of Payton students joined their teachers on the picket line outside school Thursday morning, and made a “TikTok” video:
Meanwhile, Chicago attorney Kevin Sterling filed a lawsuit Thursday morning against the IHSA, Illinois’ sports governing body, with the goal of allowing CPS cross country runners (including Sterling’s child at Jones) to compete in the regionals this weekend. IHSA currently is barring CPS athletes from competing due to the ongoing teacher strike. The Paw Print is still working to obtain a copy of Sterling’s filing.
