An email sent to the Payton community at 9:38 AM, May 5th announced that Principal Shabazz, Payton's current interim principal, was voted in to be the contract principal for the Payton community.
On April 27th, Payton hosted two principal candidate forums: a Student Forum and a Parent/Faculty Forum.
