Two days before its official start, the Payton community kicked off Pride Month with its second annual LGBTQ+ Compass. Led by members of the school’s Queer Student Alliance (QSA), the Compass highlighted the history, accomplishment and talents of the queer community within and outside of Payton.

Students Addison and Landon opened the Compass with a performance of Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!”
Bombic Sans member Julian Del Angel performed a spoken word piece.
Ivy Lefebvre performed stand up comedy for the second year running.
The Compass concluded with a moment of gratitude for Mx. Guizzetti, a Payton visual arts teacher and longtime sponsor of QSA who will be retiring at the end of this school year.
